For Families

A Place Where Your Child is Seen, Safe, and Celebrated

At Funhouse Therapy, we believe every child deserves to feel understood and supported. Our occupational therapy services are designed to meet children exactly where they are, while helping them grow in confidence, independence, and joy. We partner closely with caregivers, because you know your child best — and together we build tools that support your child’s success both in therapy and in everyday life.

What to Expect

  • Playful, child-centered sessions that focus on what matters most to your child’s daily life — play, learning, self-care, and relationships.

  • A neurodivergent-affirming approach that celebrates differences, rather than trying to “fix” them.

  • Family involvement at every step, with practical strategies you can use at home, school, and in the community.

  • Clear communication from your therapist so you always understand goals, progress, and next steps.

Common Areas We Support

  • Sensory sensitivities or sensory-seeking behaviors

  • Emotional regulation and coping strategies

  • Fine motor skills (like handwriting, dressing, or using utensils)

  • Gross motor coordination, balance, and body awareness

  • Independence in daily routines (feeding, bathing, getting dressed)

  • Social participation and building connections with peers
